Property Manager exploring alternate lines of work . What types of jobs should I consider in the future?I have been a Property Manager for 20 years with no formal education. I am wondering what types of jobs will share similar skills that I should consider? I cannot be an on-site Manager since I am a homeowner now. I've been considering getting a degree but which one would be most desired to further my current expertise? Are there online colleges you'd recommend?
I primarily work in an office setting but often go outside the office to inspect homes, show homes and check repairs. I prefer that in/out combo so as to not be stuck in an office/cubicle all day although I may not have that choice priviledge.

I love Madrid. or Rio Del Sol. both are great places. I lived in Madrid for a summer in 2000 and I had a hard time coming back to the US. They are so rich in culture. Great night life. Cheap living expenses. Id be on the street in the us for the amount of money i spent when i lived in spain. Stay away from the touresty areas in Madrid. But it is easy to get around. I didnt even know the language when i went there. Everyone I met was so nice and helpful to me, even though i was deff an outsider. It is hot but it is a very dry heat and not humid at all. The air was a lot better to breath than this smoggy american air i deal with. The only crime i came across then was pick pocketers. But they are easy to spot. They always have a guy doing weird things to distract the tourists so the theif can get close. I watched a lil dog and guy doing tricks, while another one went around and picked pockets. just gotta know what to look for.lol
I wish i could just pick up and go back. I regret everyday that i didnt stay there, but that would have meant me giving up on my family(they are afraid of flying) so I didnt stay. Wish I had money to go back for a visit. I loved it a lot more than my 2 day layover in Heathrow. People there just seem to hurried and rushed to be bothered, Rio del sol is deff more laid back and easygoing. Must be the sea breeze and the spanish sun.lol
You need a guide to find your way out from your self absorbed life. Ever hear of narcissism, Cassandra? You need a spiritual guide and some structure in your life. You need to gain some humility.
Short of spending lots of $ to enlist a guru, I would suggest reading. The first book that comes to mind is Dale Carnegie's "How To Win Friends and Influence People". From there, I would move onto some spiritul stuff to gain a perspective of what life is about. I would recommend Anthony DeMello's books.
Your expression of gratitude is very good but you really need to gain perspective. Life is a long slog. You can create you own excitement. But why excitement? Helping others is exciting as in thinking of someone else other than myself. I would first work on patience and acceptance. It is good that you seem motivated. Good luck.

Sydney FC!!!
Dwight Yorke played for Sydney and loved it! He loved the club, the supporters, the atmosphere and the life style. Robbie will feel right at home in Sydney, and they are the richest club in Australia and will be able to pay a nice wage for him.
The A league is also growing rapidly, and star players like Fowler are wanted by all Aussie clubs, and they have financial backing to pay the big money to lure players here.
I am very pissed at my toilet. I have had it for 15 years and never a BIG problem, only clogging when we put too much toilet paper in. I took the toilet off the floor when it was flushing very wierd, it would drain very slowly. I rolled it around in my backyard and a bunch of toilet paper came out, and a rock came out with it. I thought the rock was the problem, but when I put the toilet back on the porblem was still happening. I don’t know what to do.
What if my toilet does not flush whatsoever. Do I need a new flapper? The toilet does not leak and it does not re-fill itself. Any suggestions or videos you would suggest for me to watch/learn?
