Real estate investors could find themselves once again attracted to London commercial property after the recent announcement by the mayor of London, Boris Johnson, that new funding designed to boost the level of regeneration work in the capital has been released.

Commercial property returns over the last twelve month period are looking to be close to the worst twelve month real return on record which occurred in 1974. RICS are predicting that over the next two years things are going to get even worse with the decline in capital values far outstripping the slumps of the 70′s and 90′s.
